Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Taumarere

DLM were originally commissioned to provide 5 teaching spaces to allow for role growth. Over a period of a number of years with the schools changing needs and a redesignation to include Whare Kura status the brief was changed.

The school design then became site wide to include a new gymnasium, refurbishment of existing buildings to deliver the technology curriculum as well as new teaching spaces. All the buildings therefore became new or refurbished.

DLM had already had extensive experience with new Kura and Whare Kura delivery so this enabled the works to proceed easily through design and construction with a comprehensive result.
