Marist Primary Mt Albert
DLM has been involved over a number of years in the development planning for the Marist Primary Mt Albert site. The key issue with a small school was how to manage the accommodation without compromising delivering the maximum amount of teaching spaces the client desired.
The design consists of four open plan teaching spaces that each cater for the equivalent of three teaching spaces. In addition to these are joint shared spaces and extensive covered external space. There is also an external teaching space joining directly to a new school library.
The outcome is satisfying to the school as a modern environment and also robustly put together to last for years to come.
