Macleans College Sports Pavilion
DLM architects bid for and won the chance to design a new pavilion and changing room complex at Macleans College. The forerunner to this work was the delivery of a smaller changing room project for Auckland Council.
The project scope was to deliver a new single storey changing complex with adjacent pavilion. The Pavilion was designed to make use of its unique location with extensive views towards the Gulf but also with full oversight of the adjoining playing fields. The venue is to provide for after match and school functions
The design reflects the schools desire for a robust design that provides longevity in its materials and function. Its simple design and materials palette has been extremely well received.
